Maroon 5 announces North American Summer Tour 2020 with Meghan Trainor

Dec 17, 2019

May 30th 2020 is the big day: the official launch of Maroon 5 North American Tour. This 41 date show marks the biggest ever U.S. show of the three-time GRAMMY® Award winning multi platinum band.

The tour kicks off in Chula Vista, California and will wrap up on September 17th in Tampa, Florida.

The Maroon 5 tour will include iconic and spectacular venues such as Banc of California Stadium, Fenway Park, Citi Field and Wrigley Field. This show will solicit the nation’s biggest venues: amphitheatres, baseball stadiums and arenas. The Maroon 5 concert tour comes right after having headlined at the halftime of the Super Bowl 2019.

Front liners will be Meghan Trainor and Leon Bridges on stadium dates. Leon Bridges, the American soul singer and songwriter is best known for his debut album and track “Coming Home”.

'Leon Bridges’ has a new collaborative EP with Khruangbin, Texas Sun to be launched February 7th but you can already check out the title track. Fans are impatiently awaiting January 31st for Meghan Trainor’s release of her third studio album by the name of Treat Myself. Trainor, the American singer-songwriter is inspired by music from the 1950s and 1960s and is known for her endearing retro throwback style. Trainer released three albums between 2009 and 2011 and has achieved three singles in the top 5 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Check out her titles “ All About That Bass" topping the chart for eight weeks, "Lips Are Movin" to become her second top-five single, and "No" to reach the quickest the top five.

Maroon 5 needs no introduction. Adam Levine, the band leader, will be missed from his role as judge on “The Voice”, but this is, to say the least for a worthy cause. Maroon 5 just released their latest single “Memories” which is the first new music from Maroon 5 since “Girls Like You”. “Memories” is said to be marking a creative and personal progression for the musicians. This minimalist ballad with a lilting guitar and evocative lyrics is in stark contrast with their previous work. “Memories” quickly reached peak position #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. Recently the track reached #1, which is their 14th number 1 hit: the most reached by any act. The music video has been directed by David Dobkin and it has garnered over 185 million views on Youtube. This brings their video views to 12 billion! Maroon 5 tickets are very much in demand.

The Maroon 5 tour includes Canada: visited cities are Toronto, Edmonton and Vancouver. Among other cities Maroon 5 concerts accompanied by Trainor and Bridges will be visiting the cities of Phoenix, Albuquerque, Dallas, Chicago, Boston, Toronto, Edmonton, Los Angeles, Cincinnati and West Palm Beach. Maroon 5 fans cannot wait: this will be one of the biggest, most awaited and climatic concerts of 2020.
