Ghost Announces 2019 'Ultimate Tour Named Death' across North America

Apr 30, 2019

Ghost, the Swedish rock band that was formed in Linköping, Sweden in 2006, is the real deal in terms of Scandinavian metal. The band is in unison inspired by their love and fascination for horror films, operatic drama, church chants, dark gloom. They all wear, face-concealing rightfully macabre costumes as they delve forcefully into their performance and intense music.

Forge, the founder and leader of the band has shared that as an adolescent he "unquestionably threw my hands into the hands of Satan”. He cited a strict stepmother, the alienation he felt at her home, and an even stricter religious school teacher for making him run "headfirst into the arms of the devil." He has been playing the devil’s music ever since.

Now the Ghost tour has devilishly booked a six-week North American tour. Their crazy rock theatre will be as usual an intense performance. Ghost concert tickets for the Ultimate Tour Named Death are finally available. The tour will launch on Friday, 13 September at Rabobank Arena in Bakersfield, California. This show is not to be missed: Cardinal Copia (played by Forge) and the seven Nameless Ghouls will perform on a visually spectacular stage inspired by a medieval cathedral set against illuminated stained-glass windows for a very intense two hours. They will give a lot of dynamism and visual interest to their performance by prowling on a multi-level stage. Fans of their ungodly style will happily acclaim favourites such as “ Ashes,” “He Is,” “Year “Square Hammer,” “Cirice,” “Rats,” “Mummy Dust,” “Life Eternal,” “Zero,” “Dance Macabre,” and many more. The tour will start Sept. 13 in Glen Falls, N.Y., and end on Oct. 26. 2019. Along the way, Canadian dates will be provided in Vancouver, Calgary and Penticton, B.C.

The alt/rock band Nothing More will be providing support.

Check out the band tour dates in numerous major cities across Canada and the U.S. Ghost tickets will be in high demand as the year 2018 has proven to be their year. In December, Ghost was awarded two Grammy nominations for Prequelle. Their status as a special guest during the summer of Metallica’s 25-date “WorldWired” European Stadium Tour awarded them with newly founded recognition and fans. Among a long list of awards that this macabre rock lot received in 2018, Loudwire named Ghost its “Artist of the Year.” Check out Ghost concert tickets as they are definitely on the rise ( not towards heaven! ) and this performance will be unforgettable.
