Chris Stapleton Leads Latest Hot Tours with $15 Million

Nov 20, 2018

Christopher Alvin Stapleton is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer and one of Nashville’s most revered craftsmen, with a 15-year career.

Stapleton's music influences range from outlaw country and bluegrass to rock and roll and blues. Editors from NPR and Paste magazine described his sound as a blend of country, classic rock and Southern soul.

The lyrics to his song Millionaire are:

They say "Love is more precious than gold",
Can't be bought and it can't be sold,
I got love enough to spare,
That makes me a millionaire.

Chris is definitely a millionaire in more ways than one. Chris Stapleton won three awards at The 52nd Annual CMA Awards: Male Vocalist of the Year, Single of the Year (“Broken Halos”) and Song of the Year (“Broken Halos”).

Chris Stapleton led nominees at the 2018 CMA Awards with five nominations: among which Album of the Year (From A Room: Volume 2), bringing his career total to 16 CMA nominations.

Chris Stapleton leads the Hot Tours recap dated Oct. 6, 2018, with the latest reports from his All-American Road Show Tour. The second leg of the tour, running from June 16 to Aug. 25, 2018, grossed $18 million.

The summer leg spanned 22 dates, compared to the first leg’s lengthy 50-show run in 2017, which brought in $35.7 million.

The Chris Stapleton band performed during Farm Aid 2018 at Xfinity Theatre on Sept. 22, 2018, in Hartford, Conn., to support farmers and access to good food.
